South Africa will vote on 29 May 2024

South Africa will hold elections on May 29, President Cyril Ramaphosa said, setting the stage for a contest in which his ruling party faces the biggest threat to its national majority since coming to power three decades ago.

A proclamation to declare the date will be issued in due course, Ramaphosa said in a statement on Tuesday.

jesus is on his way
He deserted you after 2019 when you chose to leave the path of righteousness of an inclusive party, instead you got all scared because a couple of right wingers were moving to the Freedom Front.

Helen Zille has chosen your destiny, all you need to do is accept being a 20% party and keep your Independent Republic.

Standard for the anc...

X will happen, but then they just dither on the GG publication.. Much like Pantys little SS.

A sobering thought: All those hordes who would have died in the fiercest wintertime social unrests that this country has ever seen will now be spared simply because he chose May instead of August.

I am sure If President Moonshot shouts at him he will be a good WMC puppet and tell everyone to hurry up, John can threaten to expose his cadre deployment secrets for extra effect.

He should have announced it during his waffle fest in February, I mean the SONA.... but he couldn't cause Tintswalo doesn't support cANCer and instead votes for the opposition.

Well, I hope the ANC is ready to become a sub-50% party. Things are not looking good for them.
