It's very easy to blame the President and government for load-shedding — Ramaphosa

President Cyril Ramaphosa has assured South Africans that he is confident that issues at Eskom, which has been rolling out load shedding due to power plant breakdowns, will be resolved.

The President was briefing the media on Thursday in London on the outcomes of his State Visit to the United Kingdom.
But...but...I was told in no uncertain terms, here on MyBB, that it is all De Ruyter's fault?

Ramaphosa... yes I know this one. He doesn't like white racists but is perfectly fine with the black ones. Screw this racist MF.
Him and ANC have been blaming white people for everything for 30 years now.
How dumb can a President be. Stop saying it's not your fault and fix the f problem

The ANC voters believe him. He knows they fcked up... but just blame the whites into the mix and the voters gobble it up.

I think they got a bit nervous and pushed to release Walus via Zondo. RET probably asked Squirrel and he said go ahead. When saffers get angry the ANC likes to divert the anger to whites. Now "their people" are conveniently angry at whites and Zondo, forgot about the minor Eskom issue...

If anyone is still wondering if life is fair. No it's not. Ramap**s is a billionaire president while the average middle class man wonders how he is going to pay his bond and if his children have a future.

My Fellow South Africans...
We started by stealing a little bit off the top at ESKOM. But like everything else we couldnt manage the stealing even. Now so many people are stealing that we don't know who to put the blame on. I'm worried that if I throw someone under the bus, they will do the same because even I was stealing. So you see this is a very tricky situation for me, because I don't want to go to jail either. To make it worse, because of the sheer numbers involved some very sinister characters are involved in all of this. These guys will kill me and members of my family if I try and get clever - going to jail will be the least of my worries. I thought that if I put the wit oke in charge, he could bare the brunt and take the bullets, but this oke is too clever. He's not going to endanger himself.

So now I make these ridiculous statements and promises because everyone expects me to say something. So here I am talking kak again.

I thank You

Others have also said they were prohibited from shutting anything down to do maintenance. Those orders came from Zuma. The thing is that it doesn't matter how they got themselves into this mess. The real issue is that the ANC as a whole are not willing to take the steps necessary to address the problem now. Just like they weren't willing to remove Zuma.
