“Obviously, it’s very easy to blame the President and government and yet, these problems have come way back from the past,” he stressed."

Erm, nope.
The cartels swapping (stealing) high-grade coal, and then effortlessly exporting to Europe...
The bribed plant managers allowing low grade coal/stones and gravel, to be put into the burners...
The lack of sticking to long-term maintenance, because the parts have been sold off as well as the contractors sabotaging so a week of maintenance takes them months...
Bloated workforce with little to zero experience in their various positions...

The above is not from "The Past" Mr. Pressodonut...
It's all been orchestrated, implemented, and flourishing, under your Administration and Showerhead's run, AND with the seal of approval from Luthuli House.

We need to be careful of throwing the baby out with the bath water. Cyril Ramaphosa is what’s keeping the RET faction at bay and out of leadership. We need to look to support his directives and seek to let business and government collaborate in fixing this issue. We are at a good point to do so. Of all of the emerging economies SA is one of the strongest and with huge potential. Keep in mind that humans are a reactive species, and we need to be at this point to inject urgency in a solution. We wouldn’t be where we are now had there not been an ice age.

There have been so many echo's since 1994

Surely the masses aren't that moronic.
They are, and their attention span is ... that long. Oh and no job and hungry.

Your mistake is reasoning from the point that they think at all.

If you sat the masses on their asses and told them they could get 70% of the country, and get payed every month for exactly what they are doing now, with a few conditions that where strongly and diligently enforced. The masses would vote for it, today.

The ANC is not that cold.
Hoping that your bread bin is magically going to fill itself, will only lead one way.

Cyril Ramaphosa is the current thief in charge. That is all.

Wake up man, the writing is on the wall.

Things will get a lot worse if the RET faction takes control, and fast. The ANC is going nowhere. There’s no replacement party that everyone will believe in, thus, better we have CR at the helm than any alternative.
I also think that in light of the current situations, we are in a much better and more transparent position to correct our course.
SA is a great nation and country and we need to either work together or leave.

I believe, or rather I have a feeling its a juicy fable spun so that the ANC has some fall guys in place for when Poeskom really goes tits-up. Apparently I talk kak here about power generation (as stated by others who scheme they work for Eskom but won't dare admit it because then they know we will come down on them like 3 ton concrete block).

The real problem with Poeskom is they lost all the people with knowledge so now they sit with incompetents who have no clue what they're doing. Everything is shrouded in secrecy, the only thing not a secret is your daily rodgering of loadshedding.
