It is already worth nothing. Why would you pay hundreds of thousands, even millions for something that could be taken away at any day, today, tomorrow, in a year, 5 years, 10 years, 50 years? Also, this is never your property anymore since they decide when they take it away.

With EWC in place, all property values are NIL.

I do know that instances like this do cause extreme distress for some insecure people. But, do not worry, all will turn out well in the end. Whether you are black, white, indian, coloured, asian, when they do come and take your property ownership away, I am sure they will let you stay elsewhere temporarily while you figure out how going about to look for a new property.

They might get away with it in the suburbs , here on the platteland it will start a civil war
 
I thought this bill applied to specific conditions. Like the refusal to do anything with land in key areas to prevent “squatting” cause people want to push government to pay much more for it.
Or for land that has no owner and no contact for years.

I doubt they planning to come into residential areas and take our land lol.

They do this in some EU countries already. If you own land in mountains and you do not file yearly returns for it or you do not build on it within 50 years (plus some other conditions you also have to ignore) then Gov can claim it.
 
calm down no land is to be taken...

the bill can expropriate abandoned land as such to be given to a person who was wronged, probably in 9,500BC
the bill can buy land from a person to write some wrong injustice from around 14,000BC.
the bill can't just walk into Clifton and take a R50m mansion.

so unfortunately for the mass uneducated ANC/EFF/MK people they are not suddenly going to get a Dainfern mansion.
