Sounds like a good way for a government to just arrest anyone they feel like for no reason. You may be first...
Not easy being arrested by SA authorities when you are in Panama.

"When they do their work people will be awed and say 'wow' we didn’t realise it would have this type of effect," he said on Tuesday, but added this would take time and the president cannot "just rush in and say arrest this one and that one and put them in jail."

Hey Cyril, I'm looking forward to it! Maybe in time for Christmas? Easter?

@rpm - My apologies for bothering you. But please kind sir, could you create a facepalm smilie/emoji for the forum please sir? There simply isn't currently a smilie/emoji available that can be used correctly in this thread.
Thanks in advance.

Or perhaps an "I support corruption" badge for those who want to use it.

Why not add a sword and shield for your keyboard warrior attempts ?

This man is living in a nice air castle. Dreaming all day.

Change the laws and make corruption guilty until proven innocent and keep them locked up until then. This will be the start to address corruption.

I accuse you of corruption and pronounce you guilty...., It's up to you prove your innocence, please hand yourself into the police for incarceration until such time as you can prove your innocence...

Since this is your grand idea am sure we can count on you to set the example for others to follow...

Nonsense. If they really want to arrest someone for no reason and detain them, they can already so so under a wave of different laws to 'protect' themselves.
Onus of proof would then fall on you to prove innocence.

I actually like this guilty until proven innocent idea. Move all new-born babies to jail, and let them out if they can prove they didn't do it.

We may as well just implement the death penalty at the same time then... no need for any jails.

And another law to change... refuse any accused access to appeals before the conviction is done and they are in jail. Appeals can be done from jail without any parole.
As much as I hate corruption and state capture, you might wanna think this one through. Do you really want to give the ANC (EFF; or insert other party here) that kind of power? Where only an accusation lands you in jail and the onus then falls on you to prove your innocence? Trust me- you don't want this.

Hmm, seems a bit harsh but I can get behind this. Imagine the peace and quiet!

Its a multi pronged beneficial idea..

Peace and quiet, and a drop in youth unemployment into the future, as well as a substantial saving on Educational and Healthcare budgetary requirements. The government won't have shortfalls into the future.

Well Ramawarawara. I cant be "awed" from the grave now can I? At this rate I will be long dead, and so will the guilty parties before charges are brought against them.
