Yeah. We really don't want any other guy running that shyteshow.

@TheChamp Do you think the WMC muppet should be replaced by anyone in the ANC at the moment? If so who do you think is a suitable candidate?

No, I also share the same sentiment as the OP, the ANC is so rotten that anyone who dared tried to make things right was going to be met with this result.

People in Soweto voted for it in their numbers because the previous administration turned a blind eye while Eskom was busy buckling under the pressure of servicing everyone plus the non payers, when Ramaphosa comes in to correct it, he is punished at the polls.

People in KZN voted for it when it had a criminal of a President whose only worry was about lining his pockets, when he is removed and jailed for his contempt towards the law, Ramaphosa is punished at the polls.

Some of their voters do have a genuine concerns why they stayed away but generally the outcome has nothing to do with Ramaphosa's leadership.

There are elements of that yeah...

I also do tend towards thinking that if it hadn't been for Cyril, the ANC's performance this time around would have been significantly worse actually, his presence has helped the ANC immensely.

Apparently parts of Soweto haven’t had electricity for the past 6 months. Other parts had no water. That didn’t help him.
Eskom announcing stage 4 loadshedding 5 days before the elections & looting also didn’t help.
Victim by association but I think he carried the party the most in this election.

"A top South African ruling party official still thinks he’s its best asset"
