We are having issues in the area with some land owned by the municapality that the locals want to take over...they are not getting their way...so what happens, the 3 roads into town are blocked off by stone throwing twats....And now they are digging a trench across the road...Unfortunaltey this same tactic was used about 10km away at another squatter camp...They dug trenches....blocked off roads...and even messed up the railway line...And six months later they got what they wanted (rumour has it Transnet paid for the electric infrastructure here so they could get the line back in use....)..The precedent has been set...

Cops sit back and watch...or just sleep in the paddy wagon..
I say load up those shotties and dispearse these things...they run like the wind when the guns come out...
Of course FA will happe thoughn...Thats how everything'works' here...Just do what you want...
You dont get your way...OK...just trash everything in sight....
Oh no, you cant do that, "hulle het mos mense regte".

Fok die anc
Fok sokker
Fok uit my kantoor uit!

The problem with the fake it till you make it philosophy is that you don't always make it, and if you were not careful, which the ANC has never been, then all you are left with is ashes in the end.

The mob mentality is a problem over there because the residents are certainly not gaining anything out of the standoff, hopefully some of them take a different stand for their own sakes and do the right thing.
