The promise of building one million houses within five years in Alexandra was made in April 2019 by Cyril Ramaphosa. 30Months have elapsed since that promise, which means that the government is 500 000 houses behind schedule.

One million houses in five years means that 555 houses have to be built every day if building continues on weekends and holidays.

Words like million are easily bandied about by lying politicians and math illiterate peasants and the lumpen proletariat lap up the figures with no clue it's unattainable.

We all know the EFF is the ANC's experimental wing that tests the waters. If what they do is found favourable, it becomes and ANC policy. If unfavourable it's denied the ANC would do such a thing. Notice the ANC Yoof Leeg is very quiet and the EFF speaks for the Yoof?

Don't confuse yourself, the residents are complaining about their local electricity issues, they have been cut off for non payment and illegal connections, Eskom is not maintaining the infrastructure because the residents are not being cooperative when Eskom wants to do audits, check for meter tampering as well as install prepaid meters, they like the chaos because they thrive in the chaos.

There are few upstanding residents who are caught in the mess but generally that's all there is to it.
