It appears that the ANC also do not want skilled and experienced Nigerians or Zimbabweans or the likes, as the government has recently announced that they would be looking at implementing restrictions into certain sectors 'foreigners' can't operate in. Sooooo.... wonder which other 'foreigners' are they trying to target?

I had a black Zimbabwean friend who studied at a South African university and eventually ended up going to China to work. He could not find employment even as a highly skilled black male, presumably with South African residency.

The only people lower on the AA scale than white males are foreign black males.

So, I really don't know how Cyril expects this to work.

Because they have African skills and education, far superiour. I've met at least two foreign, white, contractors on Eskom's payroll because of the current state of affairs.

They are laughing their asses off all the way to the bank, earning obscene amounts of money for doing a job nobody who's still left can do. Best of all? They of course hold on to their foreign properties and foreign passports and will GTFO the millisecond the shyte hits the fan, never to be seen again, with disgustingly fat bank accounts.

Now I don't blame them at all for making out like bandits, but this is how pathetic Eskom has become. Viva ANC! Wakanda4Eva!

AA and BEE is only really used for forcing big corporate to hire from a specific demography for top level management and downwards, which given the relatively small number of educated AA/BEE recipients means you end up with having one individual who has executive/non-executive/board membership of multiple large corporations simultaneously just to appease the AA/BEE requirements for corporations, and mega salary jackpot for the AA/BEE recipient. AA/BEE for SOE/government is just to force business to be done with specific people (like that coal reselling beautician for eskom). The fact that some people from the peasant masses manage to benefit from AA/BEE is just by the way byproduct.
