I still find it very typical that the government waited so long before starting the procurement process. That health officials were non-responsive when offered the vaccines is exactly the kind of thing you expect from the people in charge around here.

In most cases the ANC can't plan ahead. They are always responsive when it's too late. Like people warn them about SOE's and nothing happens until the very end. Municipalities go bankrupt before an attempt is made to fix them and so forth.

So they paid for the development of the vaccines but that don't mean they should be taking a lot more than they'll need even accounting for spoilage.
Who says they are? It will take years to manufacture enough to vaccinate the whole world. We don't even know if it will be successful and it may be necessary to revaccinate.

Ramaphosa's statements about COVID-19 vaccine hoarding explained

President Cyril Ramaphosa recently warned against vaccine nationalism, where rich countries hoard COVID-19 vaccines for their own citizens and disadvantage poor countries.

Speaking at the World Economic Forum’s digital Davos conference, Ramaphosa said he is “deeply concerned about the problem of vaccine nationalism, which, unless addressed, will endanger the recovery of all countries”.
Maybe start by showing us what you have done.
Then we will believe your moanings.

And please show us everything, Not just the parts that has been sanitized.

This is simply not the case. They pre-ordered from various suppliers, not knowing which of these suppliers will be able to produce a vaccine. The vaccines are now available, but they still do not know whether enough will arrive, or how effective they will be against new variants.

Do you want them to cancel some of their orders and put their own citizens at risk? An even bigger question - can they cancel when they have signed an agreement to purchase a certain number of vaccines?

And the stupids try and pass the blame on. Perhaps if they get back the money the theiving ANC government has stolen we could have been able to help fund and been part of the first world efforts to combat this virus. Instead we are becoming another basket case African country all due to corruption and incapable minister controlling us.

African way to bemoan competition rather than cultivate improvement. Everything must be a given otherwise it is racist or physical harm will come to those who are better.

Yea.. forever the little bitch of the world eco system where your skin colour means FCK-All. Because skin colour is the only game ANC/EFF has.

This is just like they always are.

this is a problem, moan moan blame someone

but never, never in their history have they ever made a plan to fix things. They only make plans that will enable them to steal more and loot more.

Not only that, certain countries have invested hundreds of millions into building their own manufacturing facilities. If they hold 300% of requirements, as a result, its because they had the forethought to plan ahead and not squander money on incompetent airlines.

Please be my guest and distribute whatever you get to government, their families and the rest of the majority and to the minority that are dumb enough. Sorta like jobs - treat the vaccine like jobs and university entrance.
I'll skip tnx
