Rare cars on SA road

I think Jag and Daimler is like Rolls and Bentley

Here's another rare car i spotted today,
Dont know it its a custom job, or it came imported or its a special order thing,

Opel corsa bakkie with clubcab seats
Checked inside its a full on clubcab, seats like a hatchback, but a bed like a bakkie,

Very weird....

Never seen something like that, i thought you only get clubcabs as 1 ton bakkies, not these small bakkies .....

That's a B Corsa, and in SA, the bakkie was single cab only. In South America they build it as the Chevrolet Montana, but only since the C generation, and it's only single cab only. Most likely a custom job build out of a Corsa hatchback and bakkie. It's really cool though.

Interestingly, you can get 'half ton' club cabs. The new Fiat Strada and VW Saveiro both come in club cab models. SA doesn't get either though, as they are only built in LHD>

According to Wikipedia those come with :
Engine : 2NZ-FE 1.3 L I4 DOHC or 1NZ-FE 1.5 L I4 DOHC
Transmission : 4-speed automatic

Thats what I got told. 2.7 VVT, maybe the guy did an aftermarket conversion.
