I can imagine a road trip in that from JHB to CPT, wonder if that is how it got here. Seems like it is well looked after.

Thanks. I'm still looking for a turbo. It had the work Turbo in white on the left rear indicator. I'm not joking. Excellent cars. Sh.t gearboxes.

Exa (non-turbo) was my second car. Indestructible engine, everything else significantly less so.
I doubt there are any Exa turbos left, they had a tendency to blow turbos very easily.

And that's exactly what happened to his.

Now if someone can find a running Opel Kadett 200ts, now that would be a rare find.

I think they were all written off within a year of purchase weren't they?

hehe, that or the motor just went... apparently the pistons etc weren't hardened from the '200is' model to withstand the turbo??? or something like that

The problem with the EXA turbo was cooling. More often than not you had a glowing red manifold. This was the end of many EXA and Langley turbo cars.
