Hi there

Can you please rate your mobile provider (Vodacom, MTN, Cell C, 8ta, Virgin Mobile) and tell them how they can improve.

Your feedback will not only be very valuable, but you will also stand a chance to win an Apple iPad 3!

Please select the relevant thread here:

Cape Town (Wynberg), Varying levels of reception. JHB (Rivonia), Very poor reception. No Data SIM and Twincall on Top Up Contracts. Emailing customer care is far more efficient than calling the call centre.

Cape Town (Cravenby); I've been with Cell C for about 6 years. I never had much problems with Cell C as I mostly use it for Mxit, I rarely make phone calls and sms'es. Now and then I do experience GPRS/EDGE problems, buts its very rare, maybe once a month or once every 2 months or once in 3 months if you get the idea.

I recently started using my cellphone's modem to connect to the internet and it is a bit too slow and the data cost is a bit too high.

What can Cell C do to make you a happier customer?
Free internet sevice for all
Free communication service for all
A Free secure wireless network service in each area for all
Faster internet speed for all

I wish and hope all the communication companies (Vodacom, MTN, Cell C, 8ta, Virgin Mobile, Telkom, etc...) could join and make a global company to provide FREE fast internet access for all. Something really powerfull and amazing!

Areas of use
Strand, Gordons Bay, Somerset West, Stellenbosch, Franschoek

Voice call satisfaction - 60%
Good call quality 80% of the time
Calls drop quite a bit, very very annoying

SMS satisfaction 0%
Too expensive, alot of cheaper more reliable alternatives. WhatsApp, BBM ect ect

How to improve
Voip calls over vodacom network, slash prices, voice calls cost data instead of pay per minute ect
Sms is free from vodacom to vodacom, add some adds to messages to generate some revenue
