When I dial 140 to check my bundle balances...it says I have no sms/mms. The deal that I took with Red Bull I am supposed to have 100 sms/mms.

Second thing is I am unable to register on the Cell C website for self service...just keeps on saying "Account does not exist".

I have emailed Cell C about two weeks ago regarding the self service issue...and received nothing back...not even a ref number or some kind of confirmation that my query was received.

Cell_C....I have already PM'ed my query to you this morning. Looking forward to your response.

As I am not happy with the actual network and devices (I have two RBM HD) and both give issues. In fact I actually regret taking out the two contracts

If you have PM not to worry, but this is from now on, so can stream line everything, and not miss and one.
and this way easier to compile data for faster turn around time

My wife has the same problem, but when we called 140, the agent could see the SMS bundle balance, and it has been decreasing as they have been used.

She has this problem too, although she was able to successfully register on the MyTools site.

Thanks ginggs. I too was able to register for MyTools...but MyTool / s *grin* dont give me my bundle info like the Self Service site does. :-(

So Cell C gave me a call this morning....the woman asked me what the problem is. I explained in the mail that I sent two weeks ago that the problem is that when I try and get my pin to log into the Cell C self service site that it just keeps on telling me that my account does not exist. Anyways....so starts typing on her keyboard...."Eish...internet went down.....I will reset it for you when it comes back up. Try in a hour." It is now 18:21 and still does exactly the same thing. So....they take 2 weeks to get back to you after sending them a email. Not even a acknowledgement of the email...or any kind of ref number. For all I knew up to today, that email was eaten by the cookie monster. Then, when they do get back to you after two weeks...the internet goes down and then she ends the call saying she will resolve it when it comes back up...BUT does not!

Not a train smash....but it is very VERY irritating.

Thank you. I take it that you will still sort this out though? It stands to reason that the query that I did log got closed by Cell C with no resolution seeing that the lady did not do as she promised....and besides, dont think she could have sorted this out anyway. I read some other threads with people reporting also that they cant log into Cell C Self Service if they are on RBM. This sounds like a system failure on your side for many many clients concerned.

I agree with you ocleroux, it seams to be a system integration failure. I also tried for a number of weeks to get registered on the cellc website with no joy. Eventually the lack of response wore me down and I gave up. I also have issues with sms bundles not being loaded and unused minutes not being carried over, hopefully these will be resolved by Cell_C soon. A number of my colleagues have gone for the RBM 200 package with the Motorola handset on my recommendation, so guess who's going to get an earful when they have the same issues? Please resolve Cell_C.

I can't register on cell c website it says my nr. Doesn't exist?

My other problem is that my minutes from the previous month wasn't brought over as my contract said it would have been?

And wat is up with the call centre can't get through to you guys.system problem!! its really irritating.

Plz help before stop recommending cell c.

We've found a strange problem with the RBM HD (Huawei U8800 IDEOS X5) phone, when making calls on the 2G network, the other party hears a sound like a dot matrix printer in the background. Heard from a friend of ours with the same phone that he experiences the same problem, he is also in Cape Town. Is this a problem with the phone or with Cell-C's 2G network in our area?

Cell_C....any feedback on the "Account does not exist" error for RBM users trying to use the Self Service on Cell C website?
