I'm looking to change from Vodacom and noticed the red bull mobile 200 contract as very viable. I'm just wondering:

* what is the 3G coverage like,
* is iPhone compatible on the network,
* can you buy additional data bundles (how much)
* can you buy SMS bundles (how much)

Cell C uses 900Mhz for its 3G coverage. The Iphone 4 supports this but the 3GS does not it seems. Also the Iphone 4 uses a micro sim so you might want to check if they can give you one on the RBM contract. If not, you can cut a normal sim so that it works in a micro slot. look for a guide online...

Looks the same as the normal Cell C pre-paid package (without the free data, sms, voice on recharging) exp there's no cost of data listed there?

Cell C uses 900Mhz for its 3G coverage. The Iphone 4 supports this but the 3GS does not it seems.

Correct, although Cell-C are supplementing their UMTS 900 with UMTS 2100 in densely populated areas. I have a friend who recently ported to Cell-C using a 3GS and is happy.

Hi guys, can someone please help me? I cant access the redbull mobile portal on my RBM HD, when I go to m.redbullmobile.co.za i just get the normal site with details about the devices and wallpaper downloads, ive tried using the rbm apn setting but it still doesnt work???

I tested it with the normal cellc apn and the redbull apn but I get the same site?

you will get the same site, but with a normal Cell C sim you will be billed.
and will a red Bull sim it if free.
So must have RBM APN's and sim then you good to go.
