This is really stupid, as ALL Redbull Mobile customers have the same problem. Why everyone should repost the same thing is beyond me.

The moto is on an older android release but having the fun of being able to dunk your phone in your beer at the pub is well worth it! I haven't had any issues.

It is upgradable to 2.2 FroYo though. Whether RBM will make this upgrade available to us is another matter though.

Cell C....any news on getting us provisioned on the Self Service on Cell C website? I have to say...I am kinda losing my patience here. This really should not be taking this long.

And what about the SMS bundle balance? They worked fine in April, but have been broken for the whole of May.
While on the topic of sending 'bal' to 14302, is there a good reason why contract users can't just send *101# like on prepaid? It would be a lot easier.

@emptybruwer: Are you saying it's possible to get an RBM contract without a phone? If so, what are the costs?

Doubt it. Just that you can flog the RBM-HD/Defy then use your Desire HD. What I plan to do...

The Austrian site says the RB portal with free browsing etc is still available, even for non-RB phones. Hope that holds for SA...

*101# works fine for me... I see my unused minutes from last month are now showing too. Just the SMS bundle not showing and web registration still an issue.

Still not seeing my unused minutes. Well, now a good time to phone up old friends and catch-up. Don't want to risk losing another bunch of minutes.

There is no change to the problems.whats going on? And if i must pm cell c agian i will loose it.everyone has the same problem so just fix please.

My sms balance not showing and my 16 min wasnt carried over and can't register on website.

my minutes carried over and my data now reflects the correct amount, but I still can't see my sms balance...

MMS doesn't work, balance enquiry inaccurate, cannot upgrade the software

Hi All,

I hope you don't have the same problems I do. Here's my story...

I have the RBM200 contract with the Motorola phone and:

* Cannot send/receive MMSes. I've tried numerous times to set it up. Called the call centre where the person confirmed that MMS was enabled on my profile.

* Cannot for the live of me get the correct amount of SMS/MMSes available. It always tells me I have zero. I reply on loggin into the MyTools section of the Cell C website to see how many I have used. It' annoying.

* Tried to update the phone software with the official release downloaded from the Motorola website (www.motorola.com/update - go through the pages and select MOTODEFY). The software says that the phone is not upgradebale. Did RBM change the software that now causes this? If I cannot upgrade the software, then I'm rooting the phone to load the latest Android 2.3.

So, how do I get this fixed? Especially the sending and receiving of MMSes.

The customer service is extremely bad. You cannot get an operator on the line, no matter which option you choose. And they take +- 2 weeks to respond to an email. The "Tell Trevor" campaign is a joke!

Frustrated beyond comprehension :mad:
