@Tim182: Don't you get charge extra for roaming on contract?

Not that I know of in this case. I am pretty sure CellC has a roaming agreement with VC whereby CellC subscribers can use VC's GSM network. Only Gprs and Edge though.

Not getting my RBM invoices.

Can someone please tell me, who must I contact to get my addresses sorted for getting my bill delivered?

I have called the callcenter twice to update my address, and went to a Cell C store to make sure they have my correct info, but I am still not getting my statements via post or email.
I need them for tax purposes.

I am not going to call 140 again because it only costs me money. (140 still does not work on my phone, but it is actually a blessing, as no one on the other side seems to do their job anyway.)

Only your voice minutes carries over...not SMS or data.

hey guys. I posted up a thread about getting the motorola on rbm. Thanks for the replies, i think im going for that deal, iv just got a few concerns before i sign up, perhaps cell_c or any of you can help out. 1. What is the self service option on cell c you guys are talking about and is it available to rbm customers? 2. Does the 500mb data bundle include roaming on vodacom if there is no cell c coverage? 3. Im very concerned about not being on a top up deal, will we always be able to view our bill? I dont want my bill to skyrocket. 4. Just to confirm, the motorola mb525 on rbm is upgradeable to android 2.2? Thanks

2. Yes, provided the APN info is setup correctly on your phone.
3. Yes, dial *101# to get full balances

Went into a Cell C store today and they're leaflet/magazine/thing for July said that the Motorola was being replaced with the LG Optimus Black in the same RBM 200 deal...

Which is a really good deal I may have to go for.

How sad... In my opinion, the Motorola MB525 is one of the best Android phones out there, the only one that's "ruggedized".

You can still get the Motorola Defy if the Cell C store have stock. I signed up for one yesterday, getting my Defy this morning

There is no charge for roaming on VC however if you go outside of South Africa you can roam but that is charged.
as for the RBM Self Service, they are working on it. sorry cant give you a dead line, but can always get help here.
