RDS on new Hyundai i20 Glide

Hi

Got my new i20 on Thursday, but there's no RDS. Can this be enabled somehow? Read it was possible on the previous model.

When your radio picks up the station/song name instead of just showing the frequency.

Don't understand why the SA i20 its not RDS ready,while in UK/India its RDS enable.I've enable RDS on our 2010 model using link above.

Thanks, I tried but does not work. The radio looks different, however has similar buttons to the old one.

stealerships will likely charge to enable if possible

Im sure if its just a simple procedure the dealer would be clued up ? if you need to install something then yes they will charge you

Thanks, I figured out how to get to the hidden menus and change Area, however it does not list it by Name. E.G, it does not list Area as a name like "Europe", it is a combination of letters and numbers and if I select one, it changes the area, but nothing happens except losing all my stations.

The Set Up Menu on the radio itself is also slightly different to the one I had in my old i20. it only has options to change Sound, Audio and Phone.

Am I doing something wrong?

Good luck, never managed to figure it out on the iX-35.
Can't understand why (some of) their newer models don't have it.

Hi i have the hyundai Venue Glide and have the same problem not getting RDS Activated. Can you help?
