vista has come along way since june 2007
Article has updates in it. Besides SP 1 did not do much for it,
they didn't disable all these DRM issues either.

again let me state that i have not read the article. is it not a possibility that vista reserves the ability to restrict what you can playback dependant on our hardware?
and that migh tbe driven by forcing say hardware makers to certify drivers for vista only? of course if that is what the article is saying then MS would be up for even more fines in Europe. Which I would think they would like to avoid.
Winamp is 10 years older than Vista, how would it not have come further?
