Reasons why Vista sucks

vista has come along way since june 2007

Article has updates in it. Besides SP 1 did not do much for it,
they didn't disable all these DRM issues either.

again let me state that i have not read the article. is it not a possibility that vista reserves the ability to restrict what you can playback dependant on our hardware?

and that migh tbe driven by forcing say hardware makers to certify drivers for vista only? of course if that is what the article is saying then MS would be up for even more fines in Europe. Which I would think they would like to avoid.

There are processes which run in Vista which poll the hardware every 20ms. This is not exclusive to premium content only.

Winamp is 10 years older than Vista, how would it not have come further?

Vista's code is NT based and goes back to what 1993/4? It's older than WinAMP.

Some of my games is faster in Vista. And my vista runs better after sp1

when i ran a 6600GT my vista was slow in games - but yeah my new machine runs vista like silk and even more so after sp1.

thing i enjoy the most about vista is its stability.
