Reception in Kempton Park

Does anyone live in the Kempton Park area (Aston Manor) thats got IBurst? I want to know what the speed is like here?

i am in the kempton park area, its one of the best iburst towers in the country, you can get proper 1mbit on it and they have a new benoni tower too that i notice i check changed over too sometimes.

This is a good area for iburst

Thats damn good news! Thanks. Ive been waiting for Telkom for months. "No ports available" as usual. Too bad the startup costs for iburst is so damn hectic!

ive been on this tower since Jan, its a good one for sure, the other towers ive been on have slow down in the day but we're lucky and even if it gets full they bounce you to the benoni tower which i hear is empty

What other options are there for me in kempton. There is one wifi provider....but they r bloody expensive and they not legal.

I guess that leaves me with gprs. TELKOM FOOLS!!!

why wouldnt you go for iburst? when its bad its still faster than most gprs and the actual connection especially this side, is not bad, its just the stupid stuff WBS do from time to time

I second that. Have had nothing but a good connection to the Kempton tower.

My problem is, we have IBurts at work (Midrand) and it SUCKS here. Im scared ill be wasting money. Secondly, the startup costs are hectic!
