Recommend an insurance broker in Cape Town

I've read on a number of threads on this fine forum that I'd be better off doing my household and vehicle insurance through a broker, as opposed to directly.

I'm currently insured directly with the same insurer for over 5 years and although I've not had any problems (but then again I've only had one minor claim), I've recently bought a vehicle I think it might be time to do a bit of shopping around.

Can anyone recommend a broker to contact in Cape Town?

Was also with a direct insurer and eventually moved to this brokerage.

Have been with them for quite a few years now and always had fantastic service.
For about an extra R30 per month I get access waiver option, so should ever claim on my car insurance, I do not pay any excess.

BUMP!

Budget decided to double my basic excess and increase my monthly premiums by 27% with their annual increase.

Any other brokers anyone could recommend?

I know a guy who is a basically a sorcerer when it comes short term insurance - he's been in the industry for decades and gets preferencial rates.. and I've never seen him not save someone at least 15% on their premiums.. And yes, stay far away from Outsurance. PM me if you're still in need and I'll get you two in touch.

He can even build you a custom insurance product if you have needs which aren't met by a existing products.

I'd like to be able to give him a heads up before anyone contacts him, since he works primarily business and commercial lines but will take personal cases if referred.

Necro alert.

I am also looking for a broker.
I am looking at compsure at the moment, I am currently insured with Alexander Forbes and although I am happy, I think the premiums are becoming a bit steep. I don't have time to do proper benchmarking myself.

I will look at all suggestions thus far, but if there's anything new or anyone has experience with compsure, let me know.
