I have an RBM 200 contract that's in month 21. Will they let me upgrade to Cell C Straight Up 200 with the S III Mini? Or less preferably, will they let me upgrade to the S III Mini on RBM 200 for another 24 months?

I think you can upgrade to another Rbm contract without any issue. If you want to upgrade to a normal cellc contract you will have to convert your number to prepaid first and then to the new contract. So if you would like to do it now, you might have to pay in a few hundred rands to end your contract prematurely. I'm in month 20 and would have to pay in about 750 to end my contract now. Best is to go to a store to see how much you will need to pay in or just wait it out toll month 24.

The problem is that the cretins in store have no clue about what phones they can offer as a RBM upgrade. I've tried 3 stores with no luck and I was due to upgrade last November.

Funny enough, I went to the store yesterday and no one could help me either. I messaged Cell_C last night and was told someone would call me today to answer my questions. (As far as I understand the only phone on offer on the 200 package is the Galaxy Nexus.)

Got a call just-now and got the following sorted in about 5mins:
1. Contract renewed
2. Galaxy Nexus will arrive in 3-7 working days

Done.

Thanks for the reply. I think it might be better to wait it out and switch to Cell C or possibly even Yellowscum, given the problems with Cell C's network.

i asked them to check their mail as they should have been notified about the new deals (was a few weeks ago)
the they suddenly remembered and went to get the deal page from the back

I got the galaxy nexus. RBM200 is the best value for money contract.¡!!!!!!

I have a huawei p1. So does anyone want my galaxy nexus?

That's really cool. I actually asked about the Galaxy Nexus at the Cell C store in Kenilworth Centre and they knew nothing. I'll try again or maybe Cell_C can help.
