hmm they should really just make this RBM deals simple, and more to please us the customers.

Lets take the RBM 200 contract as an example, they give us the Nexus at R250 p/m & the S3 at R400 p/m so why not just divide it into groups. As it's not RBM brandering on the phones anymore.
Like the Galaxy Nexus is ~R3500 so give us a choice between all phones in that price range for R250 p/m
Same with the S3 is ~R6000 so give us a choice between all phones in that price range for R400 p/m

Just an idea, CellC rep here's one for your higher ups.

You really think offering every phone on the market on a tiered pricing scheme would be simpler than 4 offerings with single prices across the board?

Well it took them two & a half years to change the offerings once. This way no matter when your upgrade is due, you can choose a phone according to value that's not 2 1/2 years old already

Yea that's true they need to prevent that from happening again. Actually one of my friends picked up an S2 on the r250 contract recently as well, so I think they were offering under-the-desk phones to complaining customers.

Yeah also heard about that, if you have a better suggestion please raise it, maybe we can come to win win situation, that even RBM & CellC should take notice off.

In any case these latest offerings seems like it's from CellC rather than from Red Bull Mobile, cause the customers was at a CellC shop being furious. Hehe

Thanks, I'll go check it out. :)

Don't bother going there. I went back there and couldn't find any covers for the i9250. I saw some there not so long ago but all gone now. I've decided I'm probably going to sell the phone anyway.

I'm very disappointed that the Galaxy Nexus doesn't have a "network mode" option in the "Mobile networks" settings so that one can set it to "WCDMA only" like on the Galaxy S2 and S3. My phone keeps switching to EDGE, and it's driving me nuts because there is a perfectly good HSDPA signal here. Browsing is PAINFUL.

Hmm, and I thought about getting the Nexus, well I guess I'll wait for my contract to finish, hopefully they'll have better deals by then.

@cerebus That might not have worked, but thanks for getting me thinking. A quick google found me another solution!

-Go to*Phone*and type**#*#4636#*#*
-It will open the 'Android Testing' menu.
-There you have several categories of information. Tap in*phone information* .Scroll down there and you can find*set preferred network type*
-Set it to*WCDMA only*
-Your phone will now only use WCDMA mode. No more EDGE!

Yay!
