It could make sense it new contract billing is 99c/pm like in straight up contracts. Who knows, maybe it was a plan?

both peak and off peak is R1,50 at the moment
will be cool if they change it too 99c

Yip, T&C might not be updated on the WEB site. I don't think it is any intentional marketting trick, as Cell C is in process of simplifing packages.

I phoned 4 different cell c shops in western cape and all of them don't know if we can get any RBM contracts, can someone plz confirm if there will be stock of the RBM divices?

It's been 16 days since I went to upgrade my RBM contract in-store and ordered the Galaxy S2. Not a word from Cell C about my upgrade. So what everyone is saying seems to be true about RBM customers being taken for a ride.

Seems like the S2 deal disappeared from the face of the earth. Not sure what I will be upgrading to once my contract reaches its end. :(

Haha yeah that's awesome. I might still stay with RBM as I think its cheaper then prepaid. (200 min, 100 sms, 500MB @ R250)

I was fortunate to receive help from Lars Henning from Red Bull Mobile to help me get the deal after having some issues myself. Sensorei, you could try contact him on ********@za.redbull.com. I think the deal is over now (it was only valid for November), but if you ordered in November they should give you the deal.

After finally receiving invoices I can confirm that the RBM200 Galaxy S2 deal comes with the usual 200 minutes.

I applied in November, followed up in December and now in January: still nothing.

Yeah I was lucky enough to be in the Cell C shop the first weekend that the deal was available. Was looking for Crapberries for my siblings but saw this special and we all agreed that it was a much better option.

Seems like if you didn't get the deal that same weekend then you're screwed.

Funny how things work. Yesterday afternoon after my previous post here I got a phone call from Cell C telling me that I'm overdue for an upgrade. So I told the dude how I have been waiting for my S2.

He then told me how many other upset RBM customers were complaining about the same thing and then admitted that if I want to stay on my RBM package then he can't help me unless I want to choose from the old phones that have already been around for 2 years.

Nice guy but: FAIL
