Reddit takes over big subreddit that protested API changes

Reddit has taken over a significant subreddit that participated in the mass protest against the platform's API fees, The Verge reports.

Control of r/malefashionadvice, which has over 5.4 million subscribers, has been shifted to the official Reddit admin account u/ModCodeofConduct, who has reopened the subreddit.

They're farting in the wind. Reddit is barely usable now. Many people deleted their posts and solutions to problems etc.

Many of the mods were also responsible for a lot of the content. The F1 sub lost mods that were in F1 teams currently and in the past as an example. No reddit mod is going to replace that.

They don't have to be mods to post their content.

They were treated badly enough to leave after growing a reddit to millions of users. They won't be posting anything on reddit.
