well , if our Justice system cannot control a former President and Eskom is in dire straits and our unemployment is through the roof and corruption is beyond comprehension then I don't see why he could be wrong .

Thoughts?

So he's shorting the rand then and saying that he's shorting SA. From that headline I thought that he was betting on SA's govt defaulting on govt bonds, something the ANC-led govt has never done, but the NP one did.

People have been trading currency since forever. The Rand is well known for it's volatility. A weekend finance minster can make or break anyone.
