Not their country of origin, no, but the FIRST safe port they entered into to. So for the thousands of Syrians currently in France, that would normally be Turkey. Which means they crossed countless borders they shouldn't have in the first place.

I'm curious how these "refugees" ended up at the bottom of the map in Cape Town, though. Who took them there and why?
Agree, most of them are not refugees, but economic migrants, but if they want to make claims that they're refugees then there's no problem dealing with them accordingly and deporting them to their first safe port of call.

Not SA? Well then walk your way progressively north and find the country that will get you to a first world country for nothing and if you have no luck at least you'll eventually end up back in the shitholes you emerged from.

Good, now off you ****.

There is a bunch squatting in Brooklyn pretoria as well. At the UN offices.

Just send them home. They can find a new place from there if SA is so bad. Charge the flight tickets to the land of origin

Why should some poor Malawian working in Malawi be sponsoring flights for the one that ****ed off?

Gift of the Givers has been ordered to stop taking food and giving medical help to the hundreds of foreign nationals taking shelter at Cape Town's Central Methodist Church because the group's leadership is upset with the charity

I'm not sure how refugee agencies work, but is it the UNHCR's responsibility to find them another country to settle in?
No, its our duty to deport them all back to where they come from. They are not genuine refugees escaping persecution. They are illegal economic migrants who traversed many different country's borders to get here without any regard for our laws and customs.

The chief honcho who started this nonsense in CT currently has his wife pulling the same stunt in PTA currently.

They say they don't want to be in SA any longer. Nobody is holding a gun to these idiot's heads demanding that they stay. If they could jump the fence and find means to get here, they welcome to exit the same way they arrived.

We should set up a crowd funding campaign to buy them one way tickets back.
No, they can go back the same way they came here.
