Rather pricey I would say. But what do you do if there are no other reliable service available?

Bitco.co.za also have Fibre & Wireles service available
Afriglobal.co.za Satelite.
Wirulink.co.za very popular in the west rand. Slowly moving towards Pretoria.

What about Vodacom Mtn Telkom Cell C. Where do they fit into this arena ???

Don't go satellite unless it's your only option. It is very expensive and the OOB rates are pure extortion. We talking hundreds of Rands per GB.

I have no option. I live on a farm. We have no copper and we are too far from the exchange (4Mbps max speed available in town). There is no 3G service only congested EDGE. There are no LOS wireless or microwave. For a 2Mbps/10GB I have the privilege of paying R750/pm. Fortunately the provider supplied dish and modem FOC. You can expect to pay R10K+ outright or R400/pm, and the R2k installation fee.
