Compu,

Please give me more info, why do you say it has an airlock? No fuel coming through to the injectors/carb or is the motor running lean?

You need to find what's causing the airlock. Fuel cap breather blocked?

It might be you need to bleed the fuel pump, if that's possible in that vehicle.

Look in the manual for anything relating to the fuel pump. Typically manuals will specify some or other procedure relating to the vehicle fuel system when you change the fuel filter yourself, and how to bleed it again.

Just check, leave the fuel filler cap open as well, to ensure problem is not a vacuum caused by fuel being used and no air getting in. Had that on one of my bikes years ago.

Blocked overflow
Dirt inside tank or filter
Or too much seal on petrol cap.

if I remember correctly can only fill up to 40 litres; if it comes up as less than it means there is a airblock on the tank;
remember somebody saying theres a way to do this with a tazz before;

Compu.Fill up the car drive till it cuts out. Carry 5 liter spare can.
Go to closest garage and fill up car completely. your gauge might be faulty and read empty when you still have a-lot of fuel in.
If you have decent range with 40 liter don't even bother with anything. more fuel in tank makes your car heavier on fuel as it is extra weight.

judging from the fuel gauge it doesnt go completely to full but rather sits inbetween 3/4 and full.
