Renault megan 2008

Hi

I am looking into buying a new car (secondhand but new to me). And I like the Renault megan hatch, but I am not sure how the service or service cost for this car would be.

Can anyone please advice me why or why not to buy a Renault. And maybe an alternative that is not to pricey (my budget is not big so a max of 40 000 please)

Phone a dealership and ask. Check costs for brake discs and pads, minor and major services, cambelt replacement cost if it's not running a timing chain and clutch replacement costs.

Also Google for known faults and ask them how much to repair them.
