Gwede is only pro coal for political reasons and that is to keep those BEE mines and trucking companies going.
What about the "non-BEE" companies doing business at the non-BEE coal mines and at Eskom? You make it look like his stance on renewables only benefit "BEE" companies.

Relax guys. Fatso will change his tune once funds on renewables are in. Guy gotta maintain his uber pregnant shape - it doesn't matter where food comes from.
Mantashe said a pledge made last year by developing nations to help raise $8.5 billion to help South Africa transition to clean energy is still being discussed, and that any final decisions on how the money should be used will be accommodative of the country’s energy needs.

Does anyone know how much it costs Eskom to produce 1 kwh at its coal power stations?

All decent arguments but their coal buddies can become their renewable buddies as well OR they can strike deal with new renewable buddies. It is not like renewable companies are run by dalai lama.

Gwede is going to make buddies with everyone that has roof top solar? He can voetsek when he comes to my door.
