So i came across this page on facebook and called the guy

now i know its most likely 99% a scam

anyone come across this or used this

Just reverse image search the pics and you will most likely find the legit advert with the price three times what these scamsters are charging..

hey i know 99% of the time its a scam ....just maybe maybe that 1% it isnt

This is the mindset that gets people scammed.

no no touch wood i have never been scammed cos if its too good to be true then its most likely is

but yeah was just hoping somewhere its legit

when i called the guy he is like thats the auction price

I mean repo cars are a thing and Absa, Wesbank etc have entire warehouses full of them.

So the concept isn’t that outlandish.

Not sure I'd want to buy a repo'd car. Who knows what the previous owner did to it knowing it would be repo'd.

I bought a re-possessed Land Rover 110 Defender TD5 in 2011 for an absolute bargain of R69k, I had watched it drop in price from R105k over the months.
Had absolutely no issues with it ever, not once.
Sold it to a friend a few years later and it is still going strong today 10 years later, never once had a problem.

Sure, for R69k you can afford to take the risk. But for R200k upwards, for example, I'd rather not.

Incorrect, it is the most expensive car I have ever in my life bought to date.
Maybe R69k is pocket change to most people on the forum
