Shame.........
Let the ANC cadres fund them. They have all South African's money...........but lets blame Jan van Riebeeck.

Where is the capital of South Africa?
- In the bank accounts of the ANC cadres.

I would a million times rather have the government bail out the post office rather than SAA. I can see a use for SAPO in delivering government services but can see no use at all for SAA.

Never fear when Jamnadas is here

I'm sure he will come up with a brilliant plan to save SAPO
It's not under Jamnadas' department, it's Stella's baby. You know because the EFF have nothing to say about it.

Because no person in human history has ever been able to deliver a letter or a parcel without the government...

I spoke to a SAPO employee about my delayed parcels. I was told that during lock down they only operated 1 or 2 days a month at JIMC. So all international mail is heavily delayed. I received a parcel last week that was sent in January.

Took a look at their management team

Plenty actors .... surely SA has a pool of managerial talent should the incumbents not be doing a good job?

the worse the rand gets the happier i get, our industry relies on a weak rand :D

nooooo.....

The opposite is true for us.

Because we import when the rand hits the deck, our prices have to go up (which should in essence lead to more profit) but most people just slow down drastically on buying our product or just stop using it completely and so we tend to see less sales coming through

Our local PO had their phone cut due to not paying the bill. The staff also have a bad attitude

For 3 days at the beginning of the month, there was a queue for SASSA. On the 4th September there was a note on the door saying that due to "technical difficulties" they suspended SASSA payments

A euphemism for saying there was no money

The PO at Kenilworth Centre was closed with a chain across the door, put there by centre management since the rent was in arrear 9 months. The PO said they would sue the management, but did not follow through

So whatever happened to that court case against PostNet (and other courier services) delivering small items? That's completely dropped off the radar. Clearly doesn't seem to have helped them much, given their current state.

Does SAPO fall under DPE? If so and if they are out of cash to pay salaries uncle Pravin is going to do some explaining for spending billions on the nonessential SAA while the post office crashes. Tito will be especially pissed if Pravin comes hat in hand again for SAPO after Pravin threw him under the bus for SAA
