Hey.
So as a hobbiest programmer for a few years (mostly PHP), I've been dipping my toes in node.js and angular recently.
I'm having a mad amount of fun.
The only problem I always seem to have is that I can never find a comprehensive list of what the hell is going on.
For example, you'll be reading some docs about angular that are either A) not relevant anymore or B) completely out of the ballpark because they assume that you are either using angular ui-router angular-route.
So I'm asking, Angular has been around of a while (lets assume angular 1.5 for now), are there any companies that have paid (or free, I don't care) courses, that cover all of the *core* angular modules. That are NOT date and are relevant to where the tech is at the moment. Its kind of crazy to expect a wannabe dev to try pickup a new technology (new as in new the developer) that seems to be as fragmented as angular. I'm not having nearly as much issues with node.js docs as I am with angular.
I realise they broke a few things with a change at some point and that kills documentation, but still, here I am a guy who just wants to learn. I checked out pluralsight and have a subscription there and its helped quite a lot but what do you guys use? What would you recommend to something that has never programmed before or who is coming from a completely different world (server side to frontend)? If you don't agree with what I said then thats cool, I'm just looking for more info that people can recommend because at this point my laptop might break from my slamming it shut so often......
