I have the same problem with the memory card from my Nokia 9300.

It's an SD card.

sorry.... 6260 with a 256mb mmc.
Vodacare suggested putting it into a 9210, has the option to reformat it - (but where to get a 9210). Help.

Oops, my bad. Mine is MMC as well.

I'm going to try putting it in my camera and formatting it.

I'll let you know tomorrow if it worked.

I have an internal card reader in my notebook, as well as an external USB one, and have managed to format my MMC cards using either of the two, so it should work

Even though the card is password protected?

What I get from googling is this

install FExplorer, find the "mmcstore" file and open it to see the password.

If that doesn't work, try and format it I guess :)

OK, that's all fine and well if you still have the phone. I have the memory card and a camera that it will work in but it's password protected.

Sorry guys, I'm back.

This might sound silly, but how do I put a password on the memory card?

LOL - LM, they put the password on from the phone. It is an option in the phones menu that you select to put the password on.
