Yeah they have the right, but it's a train, it takes a long time to stop and look he did hit the brakes honest.
why even bother, just set a train to run through the shacks unmanned, crazy 8 style,
say oops, the engineer was too slow to board a moving train.

Just listen to yourselves. Where has our humanity gone?

PRASA won the case.
Squatters to be forcably booted.
Yay!

Prasa has been granted a court order to evict residents from the Siyahlala informal settlement after they built shacks on the railway tracks in Langa.

The order was granted on Friday by the Cape Town High Court and the residents are expected to be moved to another piece of land on a farm in Stellenbosch Road, Eerste River ......

Move them to the Karoo, plenty of space. It is not like they have to be close to jobs. I mean homeless and jobless and demanding everything.

Same place as the majority of people in this country, they will strip you naked if you have an accident outside a township, not an ounce of humanity. Yet you want me to be humane about a bunch of criminals?
You make an excellent point.

Why is humanity demanded from some, but not given to others? Or is humanity unique to a subset of people, and others can just watch it being performed like a beneficial magic trick.

I really don't get this "relocation" bollocks that we have to deal with in this country.

These people invaded private property (and its bloody evident its private property by the fscking train track running on it), they should just be moved and done with it, and those that refuse to be removed are then left to their own devices when the train trundles through.

They have more rights then those that actually own the land or even try to do things by the law, remember that you now can't have a gun for self-defense either.

You think they feel anything for you? Fight fire with fire. If you default on your mortgage the bank doesn't find alternative accommodation for you. Where did they come from in the first place? Fuggem.

No thanks. 80% unemployment already. Those not working in the few shops, on farms and for the state (Municipality, SASSA, Justice, Social Welfare, Police, District Council, Education and Health) are unemployed. The state is the biggest employer in the Karoo. And they won't move to a city as they want to be with family so they breed for the child grant to buy booze with and send the kid to beg.

Yeah I know, it just really baffles me that its even considered acceptable from a legal standpoint that an entity that owns the land, must now make plans to relocate people who have invaded the land and are impacting operations.
