[RESOLVED] Can't SMS on my Samsung i9000 :(

Hi

Yesterday I wanted to check a Vodacom 3G stick. It had no SIM, so I removed my CellC SIM from my phone, and inserted it into said Vodadongle.

Now I can't send any SMS'es from my Samsung phone - but Internet and phone calls work.

I think it's something to do with my SMS settings. Anybody have an idea what these should be?

Program either one of the two short message service centre (SMSC) numbers into the handset

Those are VC numbers. Is he not asking for Cell C settings?

Oops yes. He must use Cell c.

Wonder how did my message center number change? Very weird.

edit : I was under the impression that the message center number remained on my phone and not the sim?

It is weird, I have swapped out sims plenty before and never had this issue. Maybe it was just a temporary glitch.

Happened to me last week, couldn't find my Cell*C modem and ended up using my cousin's with my Cell C sim.

Seems like the Vodacom software in the modem changes the settings.
