Romantic trendy sea food

Find an Adego's, book ahead and ask for a secluded table or booth to add to the romance. Its fairly trendy and although not a sea food place exclusively, I have found their sea food to be pretty good. Especially sushi... mmmm.

Dont live down that side though so dont know if Adego's is even there.

In Ballito there are only three restaurants worth considering, Beira Alta, Mozambique & Al Pescatore.

Al Pescatore is right on the beach, 1st floor with large outside wooden deck (space inside as well) if you want to sit and stare at the sea while eating.

Will consider all. Adega no thanks, i know it's ok but we have one where I come from (small town:eek:). Moz sounds interesting.

Unless adego is different to the adega franchise

I didn't find Jimmy's in Ballito too bad either

Had some pretty awesome prawns.

There's a great restaurant by the beach in Westbrook. Also Lord Prawn in Umhlanga, will make you feel very welcome.

Never been there in al honesty, that restaurant has changed name/owners so many times I never bothered trying.

EDIT: Drove past there this morning and it's now called Julios.

My wife and I quite liked the Crayfish Inn. It is located in La Montagne, which is a holiday resort, but I believe the restaurant is open to the public.

The seafood was very fresh and the service was quite good. The restaurant is quiet and softly lit. The decor is a bit nautical, but not in a cheezy overdone way.

It didn't seem to have so many tables, so it's probably a good idea to book ahead.

Mo-Zam-Bik in Ballito, it's in the same centre as Scooters.
Hooters in Umhlanga has a great atmosphere, cold beer, but average food.

Lord PRawn in Umhlanga was terrible my last two visits.

For the absolute pinnacle in Seafood, visit the Mariner in Ballito.

Be prepared to face financial ruin afterwards, but you will never regret the lobster at Mariners.

the upper deck place opposite it, is abysmal.

Beira Alta was great, slightly expensive, but the platter was substantial and delicious.

Jimmy's was ok, i see its changed.

Havent tried Mo Zam Biq
