Problem is, I'm not so sure we have any of those. Certainly not within the cANCer and I still don't think we're at a point in time where opposition parties are a realistic alternative. ANC still holds too much power.

100% we don't have any of those.. which is why its very important we work hard to keep openly religious people out of power like Mogoeng Mogoeng. He would take the country backwards in many ways.

Wasn't he answering a direct question though ? I doubt if he has any ambitions or the means to rise up in ANC channels.

Nah, he won't do it within the ANC so in reality we are largely safe from him ever becoming President, but the principle still applies in terms of just how overtly religious he is and how he has openly used it to make some VERY questionable judgements and statements.
