I am being cautious & presumptuous here but I think what he has in mind that if worst comes, he will still have his property on hand whereas other investments are cash and can disappear. And my assumption that EWC (which is imminent guys - migrate as soon as you can) will not affect his properties.

Don't think property and rents will be that good, either.

Sure, but property will be there on hand but cash can be wiped out. (Excluding EWC possibility but again you could say that cash being wiped out probability is same as EWC). I don't really know tbh.

What's inflation got to do with this? :)

You proposed some sort of doomsday scenario which would affect property as well, obviously. Well, obvious to most....

I proposed a scenario in this thread or a different thread?

I was responding to what someone else stated, I proposed nothing here

I rather not have worked hard for properties and lose them than have worked hard for a RA and then needing a wheelbarrow of RA cash to buy a loaf of bread

You got properties given to you? And please don't start with your "leveraging" tirade again.....

If I can add to this. Nothing in life is for free, not even a free lunch!

Alot of guys say no for property! It snowballs in time! Learn the flexi bond system!

I always do. Problem is, you never seem to get them/answer them.

But, to be clearer, tell us all how you didn't work hard for your properties.

Let me answer the question for you. I see it as playing monopoly but in real life ! Its a hobby for me. If a geyser breaks, I call the estate manager, and get the local approved plumber out.

If tenants move out, I do a recon before and after, repaint it, and I dont see it as work, but more as in rewarding.

When someone tells me, what if they break something, or mess up that, or if its empty, its all part of the "game" honestly.

But you stated it i.e. "I rather not have worked hard for properties..."

So if you cannot back it up, we can take it as a load of hot air, I reckon.

well I am not working at the moment, so theres that

So you keep on crowing, when having a go at "wage-slaves". But yet refuse to tell us how....hmmm. If I were a suspicious person... :)

And everything's relative. You may not be working, but just scraping by...
