Retrenchment the new normal for South African executives

Executive head-hunters are witnessing an upsurge in the number of senior candidates who are in the job market for one reason only: recent or imminent retrenchment.

To be honest a lot of these executives are well paid for essentially doing nothing and layer below doing all the donkey work . Office politics and too many chiefs checking up on each other makes a lot of them way overrated for what they actually paid to do . Not all just saying some
