Rhema church founder Ray McCauley dies at 75

My pastor, now about 80, he bought a Honda long time ago, then Honda phone him and offer him a new car at lots of discount, he sold or give the old one away, and got the newer one. He use to tell me what he paid for the cars, and when he went on pension he just bought a 1,5 crv, also at a super low price. He gave the car away got a x cross. I use to drive Honda, but stop when the service dealer was 300km away.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but I seem to remember that his ex wife or somebody who died under "mysterious" circumstances.. Can't find anything on Google so I've hidden my comment.

P.S. Isn't this the McCauley who owned a gym in Bryanston? - Yes it is.

"McCauley and his fiancee had an argument, he told the newspaper. Two days later, she stepped out with another man: Paddy Royles, the show manager of Mother Goose on Ice.

“I’m sure it wasn’t a big romance between her and that man,” McCauley said.

But the journalist recorded that Royles had been warned by his friends that McCauley was a “very jealous boyfriend”.

Tuesday night was the new couple’s second date; by Wednesday evening Royles was dead and McCauley’s fiancee – who ultimately survived – was in critical condition.

“Brixton Murder and Robbery police detectives are baffled by Mr Royles’ mysterious death,” the article read."

This world is not our home, he is in a better place right now. He did a great deal for saving people's souls, people in very bad spaces, I respect him for that, we were blessed to have man like that.

When I was on the hunt for a property South of Margate the estate agent pointed out his house in the estate we were in. Nothing fancy.
