RICA'd sim card details

My wife recently got a new sim card with the intention of using it for business purposes for sensitive information - (dealing with patients etc).

The Vodacom store gave her a sim card - pre -ricad - from what I can see this should be illegal but everyone just seems to ignore it????

So the main question - in this case is there a way to update the rica details - the vodacom apps will only rica once wont allow an update. The primary concern is what happens if the phone and sim is lost and she needs to replace and wants to keep the business number?

Anyone have any ideas?

@TechPanda - Definitely NOT sold by a Vodacom Franchise store more likely a Non-franchise like a Paki, Spaza shop.

Just get another sim from a reputable Vodacom shop and make sure it's Rica'd correctly this time when it’s purchased.
