Earning 140K a month! Man I am jealous! I would have probably skipped the Durbs / CT / US trip and gone to South America and the Middle East.

I hope they have a nest egg because things turn very quickly in business. Reminds me of one of the money saving tips I heard, "expenditure always rises to meet income".

It doesn't sound excessive at all to me on that income, if they can afford it they should enjoy it.

what do u mean by bailing out exactly?

Re-writing reports, minutes, business plans, including content as well as very simple grammar and spelling corrections, reminding him of things he had to do that went undone, asking him for the same thing 3 or 4 times before I receive it, re-doing his invoices and quotes to the client because he made calculation errors, repairing and rescuing damaged relationships because of his attitude to people, etc. etc.

So you're not charging him for this service then? Otherwise, your bitterness is drawn from pure jealousy and nothing more. Personally I'd prefer that my clients all make an absolute fortune and spend accordingly...

Um, looks to me like Mr Highflyer pays Mr/Mrs Blu for their services, not the other way around. If that is the case then lord only knows why she would complain about it. However this is Mrs rant-a-thon we are talking about...:p

Not everyone operates the way you do, my lamb !

You cannot always slap someone with a bill for every single thing you do. It just does not work that way. We cooperate with this guy on a few projects. I mean, do you charge your colleagues at work if you help them with something? If so, you're more Jewish than I imagined :D

Hell no! If it worked that way around, the client and all his CSI projects would be royally screwed.

Gosh - I'm humbled. <goes to start new 'SlinkyMike / Grouter mutual appreciation' thread...> :)

Nah - I guess I'm just old.
