The artist explained her art illustrates the commercialisation of religion. Which is exactly what is happening and why people get so riled up I guess.

Same old same old... these followers and perpetrators (clergy) get riled up quickly when their devious ways and quackery get exposure. Same with the Scientologists, and every other one you can think of.

I was going to come in here and shout SNOWLFAKES!
But after seeing the images I can understand how they could offend people.
While there is a limit, sometimes people should be considerate of the people they live with. There's no need to tear of work of religion for example.

Anyway, the 'art' smells to me of a teenager desperate to find a sense of identity and get attention?

Your mother gave birth to two children and remained a virgin. Does that mean you have double the virtue of Jesus Christ?

Somehow, associating virtue with you just seems, er, very ironic. Also, send some of that Profit'cy this way.

You're right - I should make it Born of the Second Coming instead. (My brother was born of the First Coming, the third was swallowed and my next brother of the Fourth).

Profit is on its way...

Grantleigh Curro's controversial art exhibition on the relationship between money and religion has been taken down in the wake of an outcry that it was "demonical", the man who complained about it says.

The school did not respond to queries for confirmation of this, but Pastor Andrew Anderson said he was happy after attending a meeting at the school: "I am so glad."

"I think it's from all the pressure, and all the unity of the Christian people sticking together, for these things to come down."

The only one that comes out of this with any integrity is the artist.

Fück you, Andrew Anderson, fück you...

I bet he is too fücken thick to realise that it is his reaction, not the art, that compromises Christianity. Dumb cünt

No reason to tear it down. They have a right to freedom of expression. Just as the religious zealots have right to preach what they like...

The biggest issue here is that people will blindly follow what the pastor said. No one will be like, hey, wait you're missing the big picture. Because they were all raised to not question the dominie

And if the people you live with are self-righteous fundamentalist nutjobs ?

That is their problem walk away don't look at it. We wouldn't even know about this but some guy took offence.
