There's no word for christians bashing non-christians either, seems there are no social consequences there either.

And if you are both non-christian and gay .... well, you know how that goes.

Oh, and it's not mocking, it's criticising and questioning.
There isnt a word for that no , i was merely illustrating the protection of some religions , not the protection of non religions regarding religion.
I would not put using a holy book to make sculptures into the questioning/criticising column.

The difference is atheists don't impose their beliefs / lack of beliefs on the religious,

If the religious could reciprocate this thread would not exist.
Except they do , when they conflate science with a lack of belief in religion , and when they push for Christian values to be pulled out of school and government in traditionally Christian places.

If atheists were just intellectually honest about their empty, useless views they would leave everyone alone and sit in their meaningless corner and this thread won't exist. Instead now we have narcissistic wankers looking for meaning by trying to piss off other people.

I agree that atheism is empty and useless - but it is still factually and scientifically correct as it isn't meant ot be an answer to anything, it is just an absence of a lie. If you think about it, there is very little that superstitious beings have given you, compared to science, education and actual real people.

   , You are just so clueless it is actually embarrassing. Way to go there, thinking science supports atheism:X3:.

George Carlin summed it up best with his joke.

“Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time!

But He loves you. He loves you, and He needs money! He always needs money! He's all-powerful, all-perfect, all-knowing, and all-wise, somehow just can't handle money!”

Clueless but not wrong? So what has supernatural beings ever given us? At least on the same or relatively close to science?

It could be a joke except he attributed the greedy preachers lust for money to god , along with the rest of the derogatory and misleading theme of the statement which also misses out polytheists . yeah pretty funny.
So basically an attack on Christianity as per the norm.

Moans about intellectual honesty but dismisses other people's views as empty and meaningless. Why don't you just man up and admit it? That the idea of people not believing in the thing you so desperately cling to, scares the s**t out of you?

To such an extent that there isn't one of these type of threads that you can leave unmarred by some pissy remark about how atheist's lives empty and devoid of meaning.. Me thinks you doth protest too much...

What has he said that is incorrect? Do christians not follow the 10 commandments? Do they not give tithes? Will they not go to hell if they commit sins? Is god not all powerful?

Why is criticism seen as an attack?

And logically, we have everything to gain from converting/following the good lord, but he has everything to lose by changing his world view. he is like one of those guys stuck in a period scheme that will follow it no matter what, else he will show what a dunce he is

Whose moaning about atheists' views being meaningless and useless? Not me and not atheists. Atheists know their views are meaningless and useless. If only they would live like intellectually honest atheists. Alas. In that sense people should just moan more about atheists and say... STFU and mind your own meaningless business and stop trying to find meaning by trying to piss off other people ..

Tithes are not a thing going directly to god , factually incorrect as i said , attribution of human behaviour to god.
Also it misses out polytheists completely , but thats ok since it misses all the other major religions and goes for the one its popular to insult.

BTW-Atheism is, in the broadest sense, an absence of belief in the existence of deities. Less broadly, atheism is a rejection of the belief that any deities exist. In an even narrower sense, atheism is specifically the position that there are no deities.
No mention of science there . here is some for you though.
