All our progress , inovation , art, culture, scientific knowledge and understanding of the universe came about through the rejection of the orthodox view of religion about the origins of life and the universe.

It is implied in the ideology. You might not be smart enough to realise it or you might be lying to yourself. You can't get any meaning from the universe when you are irrelevant.

Even more hilarious... secular humanists have pretty much enshrined tolerance as a virtue into their Bibles/constitutions. That is, they tolerate you if you are a fellow virtue signalling secular humanist. They tend to go all sanctimonious and off the rails to the rest. The butcher boys are my favourite. I used to have a fantastic large format painting my very skilled cousin did of them that was sadly damaged beyond repair.
I immediately drew the connection as well.

No one gets emotional about simple "lack of belief" or evangelizes it..... it's a belief in no divine personalities, positive not negative. Put differently, monotheists are atheists regarding other deities..... does that suddenly mean they are not deists?

Nothing exploded and created everything..... how exactly does that contain anything but meaninglessness unless you synthetically apply subjective (objectively meaningless ironically) meaning?

Actually..... many atheists believe themselves superior to "those stupid religious people" because they believe that intelligence=atheism.... and they end up acting sanctimoniously whenever one of their holy tenants gets questioned, the effect usually being a holier than though "we smart you dumb".

Though I admit @rietrot did lower himself to petty insults this time even if accidentally.
