Dumb FF+. The display of the rag flag went to the highest of courts to get this status. Banning one thing does not equal a ban for all things on the same grounds - each item has to be tested individually. If they wanna test it, then they can go to the courts and nail this little bastard for his hate speech art.

Dunno, the one is a story and the other is real perhaps?

I don't thing the flag should be banned.

You’ve just answered your own question with your own prejudices view. He’s not a talented artist, he’s an attention seeking little twat because Christians think that they should have the monopoly on religion in South Africa.
I think you'll find that this country has freedom of religion enshrined in it's constitution and that to actively seek to disparage any one religion could easily land you in front of the sahrc. I don't think Christians are acting like they have a monopoly, but are merely standing for their right to not have their beliefs mocked in this way.

How are they connecting this "demonic" art display with the flag? Barking up the wrong tree there FF+, Curro or the Christian groups had nothing to do with the flag.

Some of the works go to dark, twisted places. In one frame, the torso of Jesus is cut open, exposing his inner organs. Sketches of the Grim Reaper, piles of skulls and images of the devil all complete the nightmare-inducing pieces.

Doesn't sound demonic to me. Idiotic people

lol... The "pastor" threatening:"If it all goes downhill from here, you will know why!" typical... 2019 and some people are still stuck in the dark ages believing in dark magic, witches and demons... ffs...
There is absolutely no excuse for still believing in this crap with all the information available at your fingertips.
The kid who did this art, is obviously Christian. The pastor is just to "thick" to grasp what he was trying to say with the art...

I dunno, but the theme of the parent that complained seems to be along those lines, and it appears there are many who support him? In my mind depicting Christ as a clown is certainly mocking.
The main thrust of the anti-Christian comments on this forum in this thread are certainly mocking of those that choose to believe in Christ.

It would be interesting to see what would happen if a student did it with Muhammad and the Quaran. They should do an experiment in the school, which also has a fair amount of Muslims.

(they should not really do it, I don't think it is necessary to provoke others just because you have daddy issues)

Are clowns looked down upon? Is it an insult? I thought most people loved them.
