Hi Guy's

I would like to start a wug in Richards bay. :D

I'm looking for Ppl that share the wug view and want to start someting "Sweeet & l337 " in this boring town.

if there are richards bay ppl on here please PM me and i'll contact you.

would really love to get this up and running.

As former resident of the area, before moving to Joeys, you okes need to get this off the Ground.
I can think of some possible highsites already.

I like the NIC.

Well as a former Pta Dude i miss the lan's and file sharing - i can see most of meer en see and birdswood from my roof ;)

I have add a site for RB-wug as a interm site http://rb-wug.mine.nu to get all the Richards Bay Ppl connected ( the site isn't 100% yet )

I have also added a IRC server.

Just a status update on the wug here in R-Bay.

It's Up :D

I installed the First HighSite this Weekend and would now like to Expand :D

Congrats - now what services will u be offering on the WUG ?
You should draw quite alot from the gaming crowd ?
Not sure if the WUG's throttle or put queues on to stop someone from
maxing out the bandwidth ?

We are still trying to secure a highsite here in George ?

Highsite rentals (on Outeniqua Mtns) cost R750-1500/m :eek:uch

Did u fund the kit for the high site or split amongst those that will be using it ?

for now we will be gaming like mad lol
seeing as i'm new to this i'll still have to look at throttles and queues but for now we are 4 ppl connected.

( DAMB ) that is a bit much for rental
" my dad let me use his double story roof for a high site to bounce from ;) "
i funded the high site and i'll be adding an extra sector end of this month.

Hey! I have moved back down to richards bay from pta and i was thinking of starting this aswell. actually wanted to get involved in expanding the pta wug to one of the uni residences there. what is the situation at the moment here? i would like to get involved aswell. Have my old equipment from ZWN connection which im sure can be used for a high sight. Let me know.

also have a friend that is able to help, has extensive experience in wireless bridges/equipment/highsites etc. and would like to possibly provide a highsite from veldenvlei aswell.
