It's possible there was some sort of manipulative grooming going on there. It's also possible there wasn't.

Personally I think if you're banging your kids, even if they're stepkids, you're a weirdo. You're supposed to protect those kids, not put your penis in them.

I still can't discount that they genuinely just had feelings for each other without any manipulation. If that's the case, even though I find it weird. It's not doing any harm.

It's hard to prove either way unfortunately.

I think with Errol Musk and Woody Allen it's a 99% chance there was some grooming going on. Woody Allen in particular is a known creep and Dylan accused him of grooming. His films and interviews are full of weird pedo-ish comments. And the 41-year age difference between Errol and his stepdaughter should make anyone feel queasy.

The Ricky Martin incest relationship also sets off some serious alarms, like sure it COULD have been completely mutual and consensual but it doesn't sound like it. It sounds coercive and abusive.

I've seen enough of Woody Allen to be very concerned that the fellow is a kiddie fiddler. The problem is what can you prove in court.

I know next to nothing about the Ricky Martin and Musk incidents.

We're not really talking about courts though. It can take decades for abusers to face consequences in court and only when the accusations become undeniable. We've known about R Kelly's behaviour since the 90s when he married his underage cousin but he only went to jail this month. Chris Brown is a walking rap sheet of horrible allegations but he's still releasing songs that chart.

Unfortunately the courts tend to come in too little too late for victims. It doesn't mean we can't look at the history and treat accusations seriously, and not constantly bend over backwards to give the benefit of the doubt to powerful celebrities.

Like you're doing with Amber Turd?

We are if we want to stop or adequately punish grooming.

In a civilised society there isn't really another equal and fair way to determine consequences for actions.

For example I've seen this modern cancel culture mobbing and I want no part of it. It's too easy to ruin innocent lives that way or the lives of people simply holding a contrary opinion. There doesn't even seem to be room for a devil's advocate these days.

I don't know if you think I'm advocating some kind of mob justice. I'm not at all. It is up to the courts to punish people. But it's also a simple fact that abuse victims are under-believed and often the so-called 'cancel culture mobbing' works against the real victims until people much later realise that they were wrong. Look at Britney Spears as a prime example, or Robin Givens, or Monika Lewinsky, etc etc.

If the general public believes the abuser and disbelieves the abused, they will mob on the one who was abused, causing them greater suffering, i.e. (IMO) Amber Heard. It's also a fact that predators love to hide in plain sight. Look at Rolf Harris or Jimmy Saville or (also IMO) Michael Jackson, or R Kelly, or Bill Cosby. That **** should be called out and people should stop giving money to celebs who are more than likely to be abusers.

All I'm saying is we need to wake up and get educated on how patterns of abuse actually manifest and when powerful people are using their power to protect themselves from consequences for their actions.

Sims 4 Update Accidentally Adds Incest

The free update for EA’s life simulator is also causing characters to age rapidly

...

As spotted by PC Gamer, Reddit, and elsewhere, Sims 4 players are reporting that after the game’s July 26 update, some in-game characters are looking to date family members. One player shared a screenshot of an older woman who suddenly wanted to start a romantic relationship with her own son. Another player shared a bug report with EA stating that one of their male sims wanted to ask his twin sister to be his girlfriend. In that same support thread, a player on Xbox shared an offputting example of a daughter wanting to date her father. Yikes!

I just wanted to acknowledge that the Want to date a family member is something we know about, we’ve reproduced ourselves, we’re working on it. We’re looking to get it fixed ASAP, thanks for all the bug reports, we appreciate it. We’re of course working on the aging bug too.

OT, but relevant.
